CRPD (Centre for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities)
Founded in 2006 by a group of individuals with disabilities and the Christian organization “Agape,” CRPD works to promote and protect the rights of people with disabilities through advocacy, lobbying, and development programs for social inclusion and spiritual fulfillment. The organization’s vision is to ensure that all people with disabilities in Moldova can fully exercise their human rights and be respected for their inherent dignity.
AOPD (Alliance of Organisations for Persons with Disabilities from the Republic of Moldova)
AOPD is a civil society organization composed of various groups working on disability issues at both the national and local levels. The organization advocates for the rights of people with disabilities by raising awareness, monitoring policies, and promoting inclusion in education and employment, as well as working on deinstitutionalization efforts.
CPD (Center Partnership for Development)
The Center for Partnership for Development (CPD) is a documentation, information, and training center for non-governmental organizations and grassroots groups focused on gender equality and women’s rights. CPD advocates for the implementation of gender equality concepts across all areas of life. IM has partnered with CPD since 2019.
EcoVisio
EcoVisio is a grassroots non-governmental organization that runs programs to educate and empower individuals, unite key actors, and promote ecological and social innovation. They actively promote citizenship, environmental and economic resilience, social entrepreneurship, and rural development by nurturing a growing community of change-makers in Moldova.
Eco-Răzeni
Founded in 1998, Eco-Răzeni focuses on providing youth with information, technology, and knowledge about environmental issues. Based in Ialoveni, southwestern Moldova, the organization is well-known and works with local and regional authorities. Eco-Răzeni also targets the media to reach a broader public, aiming to engage local communities in environmental issues, increase knowledge, and change behavior to create a more harmonious society for both people and nature. IM supports their work on including young people with disabilities in the labor market, with efforts focusing on creating a platform for entrepreneurship and implementing vocational training modules developed by a social enterprise with an environmental focus in the catering industry, “Floare de Cires.”
Motivatie
Motivatie’s primary goal is to support individuals with motor disabilities in achieving social inclusion. The organization focuses on three areas: supporting employment for people with disabilities, promoting and monitoring their rights and access to resources, and providing information and technical support. Motivatie also monitors the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and participates in the development of laws, such as the Social Entrepreneurship Law.
Parinti Solidari
Parinti Solidari is an initiative born from individuals who met online through social media. The organization was created from a shared desire to reform the education system in Moldova, with the central idea being that parents’ solidarity can stand united against a corrupt system.
Youth Media Center (Centrul Media Pentru Tineri)
The Youth Media Center promotes youth civic engagement by providing access to information. The organization offers training in media production to strengthen the voices of young people.
