Volunteer in Sweden

A few hours of your time can make a big difference

As a volunteer with IM in Sweden, you can take part in our work on integration, democracy, and climate justice. You can get involved in homework support, language cafés, and providing support for people who are new to Sweden. You can work in one of IM’s two second-hand shops, as well as contribute to fundraising and events. There are many ways to engage, and just a few hours a month can make a big difference.

We also want you to read through the Volunteer Policy. It serves as a support for you in your volunteer role and outlines responsibilities, mutual expectations, obligations, and rights.

If you can read Swedish, you can find information about our volunteer activities in the following cities here: StockholmGöteborgMalmöLinköpingÖrebroJönköpingUmeåLundVäxjöLuleåFalunNyköping och Falkenberg

If you cannot read Swedish and/or live in an area where IM is not currently present, you can contact thomas.ericsson@imsweden.org  to learn more about how you can get involved.
